The right organizes

On Friday, July 22 state representative Darlene Curley (R-Scarborough) and attorney Michael Duddy announced the "Maine Coalition to Support Judge John Roberts." The coalition to support the president’s nominee to the Supreme Court, which was in its planning stages the week prior (see "Maine As Tipping Point?," July 29) now features citizens and group members including the Maine Judicial Confirmation Network, Citizens for a Strong Maine Economy, and Interface Business News publisher Mike Mastronardi. According to co-chair Curley, the coalition will relay messages of support for the Judge to Maine’s senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins.
