In addition to the Muddy Marsh Ramblers disc, which just came out July 28, Cornmeal Records will also be releasing Best of 5, a compilation of live performances at the Kennebunk Coffeehouse, to commemorate the first five years of the venue’s existence. All proceeds from the disc, which features tracks from John Gorka, Lucy Kaplansky, and many others, will benefit the non-profit Coffeehouse. The disc will be released September 30. Check in at www.kennebunkcoffeehouse.com for details on a release show.

Programming note: Isaac Shainblum’s excellent WMPG show, "The Locals," featuring all local performers, has moved to 10:30 p.m. to midnight on Friday nights — much better slot than the graveyard shit he was pulling prior to the move.

Paul Jon Bosse checked in earlier this week to say that he and Eric Green have "parted ways" as an official group. But look for a full-length disc from Green this fall, featuring "an all-star cast of Bangor, Maine, musicians." As for Bosse, he says that if you’re looking for a drummer, drop him an email at paul@space538.org.
